What We Can Help With
-
Application Support
We hope to support aspiring psychologists planning to apply for the DClinPsy in the UK. This may include reviewing the DClinPsy application forms of people who are applying under the international self-funded route.
If you would like us to review your application form, kindly send us an email with the form attached. We will then set up an hour Zoom consultation with you to talk through your application form.
-
An Online Community
The journey to becoming a clinical psychologist in the UK can be challenging and there is limited information available for international applicants.
It is hoped that we can provide an online space for international aspiring trainees to connect and support each other on getting into the DclinPsy program in the UK. As well as provide easy-to-access information regarding the application process and other aspects of training on the doctorate program.
You can join the Facebook (here) or Linkedin (here) community for aspiring international psychologists.
-
Drop In Sessions
Grab a cuppa and join our online drop-in sessions with current international trainees where we reflect on our training experiences and our unique needs.
If you are a current or an incoming international trainee, you can find out more about our sessions and topics on our Facebook group and the Events page (here).
-
Interview Support
Our team provides interview support by addressing your questions about the interview process. We also offer an online webinar to help you prepare, check out our Events page for more information regarding this.
When available, a team member may offer a virtual mock interview to help you practice and provide guidance. Please note, to ensure fairness, we cannot discuss specific interview questions in detail.
-
Trainee Experience Survey
The International Trainees Survey 2020 was conducted to investigate the amount of support international trainees had while transitioning to the UK, the course, and their first placement.
Findings obtained were disseminated to organisations and institutions with the aim to bridge the current gaps.

Q&A Sessions
Wondering about the differences between different DClinPsy programs in the UK?
We host an online Q&A session for aspiring international trainees who want to find out more about the different course ethos and training experiences from the perspectives of current international trainees (which is currently under-represented in the BPS Alternative Handbook). These sessions will be open to anyone who intend to apply to UK DClinPsy programs through the international self-funded route.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
